Abstract

The aim of this Master’s thesis is an analysis-based adjustment of the selection and adaptation processes concerning the employees of the Moravian-Silesian Regional Office and according to the findings, proposed recommendations leading to improvement of the current employees selection and adaptation processes. The thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical-methodological part and applied-verifying part. The first part describes the methodology and processing methods used in the thesis and includes a description of the theoretical background related to the issue of employees selection and adaptation. The content of the applied verifying part highlights the characteristics of selected organization, describes current selection and adaptation processes of the Regional Office employees and analyzes the questionnaire survey. The final part of the thesis lists suggestions and recommendations which could lead to improvement of selection and adaptation of the Regional Office employees.
