Vliv investičních pobídek na rozvoj Ústeckého kraje

Abstract

The thesis is focused on system of investment incentives in the Czech Republic with an aim to assess its influence on development in Usti Region. The work is divided into three parts. The first part describes the system of investment incentives in the Czech Republic, applying for incentives; it classifies eligibility criteria and describes types of incentives including quantification in Usti Region. In the second part of the thesis the economical status of Usti Region is observed in two periods. The first one describes a period before the investment incentives Act implementation in the Czech Republic (1990 – 2000) and the second one is a period after the legislation of the Act (2000 – 2008). The third part of the thesis is fundamental; it compares values of selected economic indicators in Usti Region from both monitored periods. At the end the direct and indirect influence of investment incentives in Usti Region is assessed based on the indicators.
