Veterinární klinika

Abstract

The topic of the bachelor thesis is to elaborate project documentation for a construction of a new building of Veterinary clinic in Ostrava - Vítkovice (Jiřího z Poděbrad square, parcel nr 576/3). Project of the building is based on urban study done accordingly to the local area development plan of Ostrava - Vítkovice district. The proper building is a part of complex project of facility buildings in the area. Generally, is focused on creating of necessary facilities required by inhabitants as well as on creating of arranged Central Square as a current space is organized chaotically. There are two buildings designed on the parcel - Veterinary clinic and Hobby centre with a café - which I have already elaborated in the third year of my studies in the subject Atelierova tvorba. Two-floors building is situated in the southern part of the area and it is composed of two functionally separated spaces, Veterinary clinic and PET shop. The building is covered by a double shell roof. Main entrances are situated on south-western flanks and lateral entrances on north-eastern ones. There is a public parking place along a street accessible from a square and a small private parking for clinic's employees. While working on a project of the building I preferred using easy shapes in order to get a clear solution.
