Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on identifying the factors that affect the employment of persons in the execution and following the execution of imprisonment and finding tools that help to increase the employability and employment of this group of persons. At first, the terms are defined as social exclusion and marginalization in the labor market. Subsequently, the work is devoted to the characteristics of disadvantaged groups on the labor market and the economy of crime. The second part describes the system of prison service in the Czech Republic and the Conception of the prison system until 2025. A substantial part of the work is focused on the employability and employment of persons in custody and after imprisonment. We can find there information on prisoners' financial rewards, EU prison programs and funds, and possible ways of recruiting people after serving a prison sentence on the labor market.
