Potenciál města Opavy v cestovním ruchu

Abstract

In my bachelor thesis I deal with an issue of tourism business in my home town Opava. My target is to introduce the town to public who don’t know it very well. I would like to analyze strong and weak points and opportunities and threats by which I can identify the main problems and suggest possible resolutions which could help to eliminate the learnt disadvantages.

The introduction part of my thesis is theoretical. I define here the main ideas of tourism, its types and forms. The practical part is aimed for the town itself, historical sights, catering and accommodation services. It contains SWOT analysis by which I have come to conclusions and suggestions for tourist development in the town Opava.
