Metody vícekriteriálního hodnocení variant a jejich aplikace na státy EU

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is to explain and to compare functioning of selected methods of multi-criteria decision analysis. They are used on data from the EU to evaluate economic progress of the countries during the period 2014 – 2016 according to selected indicators of „The Alert Mechanism Report“. „The Alert Mechanism Report“ is the starting point of the annual cycle of the macroeconomic imbalance procedure and is reported by the European Commission. It is used for the identification and to address imbalances that hinder the smooth functioning of the economies of the states and to prevent them. This thesis is on the contrary focused on observing the best results of the indicators and finally on ranking the EU states according to the summary of evaluations obtained by the methods.
