Abstract
The bachelor thesis "Analysis and Evaluation of Public Expenses and State Debt of the Czech Republic" deals with the development of the state debt of the Czech Republic and public expenditures from 1993 to the present. The thesis defines theoretical concepts. Furthermore, the development of the state budget from 1993 to the present is described chronologically. Then the development of state debt and its connection with economic cycle is described. The work revealed in which years the increase of the state debt was caused by the worsened economic situation. And in which years it was caused by bad government fiscal policy.
