Korupce v České republice

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the corruption in the CzechRepublic. The first - the theoretical part focuses on the explication of basic concepts such as definitions of corruption , bribery, clientelism, nepotism, lobbying etc. The second - practical part focuses on the analysis of corruption in the Czech Republic and in selected EU countries. This section includes the characteristic climate of corruption in selected countries and development of the Corruption Perceptions Index. In this part of the work I have also examined whether increasing the economic level of countries positively affects the level of corruption. Finally, I dealt with the changes in the anti-corruption laws and anti-corruption measures in the Czech Republic.
