Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present my work done during more then 50 days of professional practice. My work was carried out in the SharePoint department as a software developer. This document describes developing of the features for new version of the Microsoft SharePoint. It is focus on Excel Import project, which I consider as the main project of my internship. It is based on the .NET framework and it provides option to import data directly from the Excel file into the MS SharePoint list. The application consist of many parts, which are more closely describe in following chapters. The first chapter deals about loading the Excel file structure and also the setting connected with the import. The next chapter continues in description of the import it self and also delineate issues of duplicity check, which can be considered as last phase of the process. All these details of the application are described in this document. This project was successfully completed and I trust it will be deployed by SharePoint team in their future project.
