Abstract
Last year, the number of new customers by ČEZ Group increased by more than a quarter in comparison to 2007. In the Moravian and Silesian and Olomouc Regions in particular, the ČEZ Group registered 5600 new customers. Possibilities to create new distributions in the Moravia and Silesia region differ depending on particular connection place, tension level and concrete energy consumption demand. The ČEZ Group distributes energy to recently growing and developing industry zones as Mošnov, Hrabová, Karviná Nové Pole, Olomouc Hněvotín etc. The theme of the diploma thesis concentrates on suggesting protection settings for the planned Olomouc Hněvotín distribution point of 110/22 kV. The new built Olomouc Hněvotín distribution point should distribute enough electricity to supply the new developed industrial zone and become energy reserve for the Olomouc region, which is actually supplied by VN 07 distributor of 22 kV voltage.
When calculating short-circuit ratios and protection settings, it is necessary to take into account all working conditions possibilities to satisfy the requirements needed for the electricity net protection. No part should be overloaded, no danger should be caused by heating short-circuit current, Protections should be set individually and at the same time they should be interconnected. In general, the proposed settings must respect the actual and future state of the distribution electricity net in the region.
