Abstract

The subject of this thesis is to capture the history of land tenure in the Czech lands and its development after the establishment of the Czech Republic to the present. The work presents a summary of knowledge on the development and status of land rights, land registration, ownership and user relations to land and land consolidation. It presents an overview of legislation in the field of use and possession of land resources and various land reforms. The analysis of current situation focuses on the land fund, its quality and protection, structure of the entities managing agricultural land, Czech LPIS, restitutions and land arrangements. Furthermore, it affects the development of market for agricultural land, state land sales and rental of rural land holdings. In the final section, the work outlines possible options for future development of the area, including proposals, recommendations.
