Vliv velikosti zrna křemenného písku na vlastnosti formovací směsi

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the mechanical and technological properties of individual fractions of silica sand. By grading the abrasives, more precise control over grain size and distribution can be achieved, which has a major impact on the final properties of the moulding mixtures and the quality of the castings. The work is divided into two main parts: theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part describes the basic characteristics of moulding materials and the process of formation of the separate mineral components. The experimental part deals with the separation of silica abrasives into individual fractions and the subsequent investigation of their mechanical and technological properties at different granulometric levels.
