Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a web application for managing electronic components, designed to run on a Raspberry Pi 4 single-board computer. The aim of the thesis is to create an effective tool for inventory management that addresses the limitations of commonly used spreadsheet software and offers features specific to electronics development, such as direct integration with supplier APIs. The application is built on the ASP.NET Core platform using an SQLite database. The resulting system provides a user interface for monitoring inventory status, managing projects with smart bills of materials (BOM), automated price fetching, report generation, and documentation management. The thesis also includes a comparison of existing component inventory solutions, a detailed description of the implementation, functionality testing, and a user manual.
