Abstract

The aim of bachelor thesis is the selection of the optimal product of household insurance for chosen subject. The work is divided into three parts without introduction and conclusion. In the first theoretical part is general characteristic of insurance industry and basic concepts related to insurance industry. In the next part are shown characteristics of insurance and its classification with emphasis on non-life insurance and specification of household insurance. The conclusion of the first part describes the methods of multicriterial decisions namely the method of determining the weights of criteria and methods of multicriterial evaluations of variations with emphasis on the methods used to select the optimum. The second part of thesis is focused on description of chosen insurers and theirs products. In the third part, the practical, is the comparison of chosen products and at the end is chosen optimal product.
