Problematika řízení zásob a výroby na základě predikce poptávky

Abstract

In my diploma thesis I was engaged with stock management and production based on demand forecasting in the company Medi-Globe, Ltd. With the use of specialized literature, company materials and datas, I conducted a careful analysis of the links between production, purchase, sale and storage.

On the basis of analysis, I identified serious problems with attemption to propose solution that would improve the current status. The main points of the proposals are these: • determining the amount of safety stock by using formulas to determine the safety stock, • determining the amount of order levels according to the ordering system (s, Q), • determine the optimal level of production batch based on the production cost, • analysis of sales by performing partial steps of prediction to plan stock during the year.
