Dotace poskytované z fondů EU a jejich využití ve vybrané společnosti s ručením omezeným

Abstract

The aim of diploma thesis was to evaluate the project being financed by the European Social Fund by operational programme Human Resources and Employment as for its purpose – strengthen the competitiveness of given company. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with the EU historical development, entering the EU by the Czech Republic, EU funds, development of economic and social cohesion policy and individual programme periods. Next chapter is focused on the steps needed to obtain EU fund support and processes related to realization of approved project. Application part deals with an analysis of concrete project being financed by ESF in given company. Financial analysis has been provided and its relative market share within 2010 – 2012 (project duration) has been calculated. These results were considered the key ones for final project evaluation. Evaluation tried to find out whether the project helped to strengthen the company´s competitiveness as this was the aim of the whole project.
