Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis deals with biometry and biometric methods, and focuses in more detail on the possibilities of retina and iris recognition. It lists the most widely used biometric methods, including their principles and advantages. The work also describes the individual steps in digital image processing. The practical part deals with different ways of comparing images of retina and iris. The practical part includes a graphic user interface, which allows comparing images of retina.
