Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to redesign the existing web interface for providing informational support to volunteer firefighter units. The current application supporting this service no longer meets modern standards and requires modernization. To implement this update, the popular JavaScript framework React.js is utilized as a suitable tool for the solution. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part focuses on summarizing tools for front-end application development and analyzing the functional and non-functional requirements of the application. The next part describes the structure and implementation of the resulting front-end application. The final part deals with testing and validating the application’s functionality. In the conclusion, the results of the application redesign are summarized, highlighting its benefits for effectively supporting volunteer firefighter units.
