Abstract

This work focuses on the study of green algae Pleuroccocus and Trentepohlia and their ability to accumulate heavy metals in their cells. In the analyzes, we focused on a wide range of metals, including: Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn, As, V. Subsequently, it was compared which algae have the higher ability to accumulate individual metals.
