Abstract

Synopsis the diploma thesis "Assessing of the Financial Health of Selected Municipality " deals with the analysis of management and to find suitable indicators for assesing of the financial healt of Orlová from 2006 to 2010. The diploma thesis is dividend into two parts. The first theoretical part describes management of municipality, the structure of municipality budgets, characteristics of municipality and takes notice of municipal debt. The second part of the thesis takes notice of management of the chosen municipality, the application of indicators of financial health and value of selected indicators. The final part of the thesis also includes recommendations for improving the financial health of Orlová.
