Společenská odpovědnost výrobně montážního podniku s elektrickými zařízeními

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the issue of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the medium-sized manufacturing company Empesort, s. r. o. The aim of the thesis is to propose a CSR system and related measures that reflect the specific characteristics of the selected company and contribute to its long-term sustainable development. The theoretical part describes the basic principles of CSR, its historical development, individual pillars, and its connection to strategic business management. The practical part includes a company profile, PESTLE analysis, SWOT analysis, and the evaluation of a questionnaire survey conducted among employees. The findings revealed that while the company already behaves responsibly in several areas, it lacks a systematically managed CSR approach. Based on the results, several recommendations were proposed, such as the creation of a code of ethics, implementation of ISO 26000 guidelines, employee training, and involvement in community activities. The outcomes of the thesis may serve as inspiration for other small and medium-sized enterprises aiming to develop a CSR strategy tailored to their conditions.
