Abstract
The bachelor thesis elaborates a static assessment of the three-dimensional frame structure in seismic active area, which serves for the attachment and operation of technology for plastic film rolls production.
Primary assessment is considered for structure without seismic effects. The geometry of the structure and load data were taken from the documents of the company Institut ocelových konstrukcí, spol. s.r.o. The structure is made of steel. The structure model is created using SCIA Engineer program.
The second part of the thesis is a brief introduction to the issue of seismicity according to ČSN EN 1998-1, including an illustrative calculation of the seismic load for the assessed structure. A study is carried out in order to evaluate the effect of the seismic load at different intensities on the designed decisive supporting elements of the structure
