Thesis supervisor Doc. Mgr. Ing. Radomír Ščurek, Ph.D. The thesis deals with the minimization of situational criminogenic conditions in the city of Bohumin. The aim is to modernize the existing security measure and to propose a technical measure in order to minimize criminogenic conditions in selected locality of Bohumin. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the terminology of the problem and the system of crime prevention in the Czech Republic. In the practical part are given basic information and description of the city Bohumin, furthermore, there are defined risk areas in terms of crime prevetion, analysis of crime statistics of a given location and existing preventive security measures. This is followed by a questionnaire survey and risk assessment, thus risk identification, risk analysis and evaluation od these analysis. Based od the results obtained from the analyzes, appropriate preventive safety measures are proposed, including their economic evaluation.
