Abstract

The aim of this batchelor´s thesis is to make eLearning course for the secondary vocational school EDUCA – Střední odborná škola, s.r.o. which will help in the frame of the subject Mathematics Seminar for distance studies. This will be done on the basement of knowledge of LMS and Moodle systems. The course should be made to simplify work both for teachers and students´ who will use this course. I put emphasis to the course arrangement and intuitive side. The introduction of the thesis is aimed to eLearning as a support of education, its definition and history. Next there are described the forms of eLearning and consequently its users who figure in this type of education resulting in advantages and limitation of eLearning. The second part of the thesis is focused on the particular types of eLearning systems. There are introduced several representatives both commercial and open-sourced. This part also includes analysis of the environment with results of the questionnaire which researched the opinion of eLearning usage at the school where the system will be implemented. The third part is aimed to the individual scheme of the course “Mathematics for distance studies”, both the functional side and other features of the course are pictured there. The conclusion of the thesis is obliged to the evaluation of a contribution of an offered course, both advantages and limitations are confronted there.
