Abstract

This thesis deals with tourism for seniors. The main objective of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the participation of seniors in tourism in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with basic characteristics of tourism. The second part is focused on senior tourism. The practical part deals with the analysis of tourism for seniors. Research is about supply of travel agencies, travel subsidies for senior tourism and specialized information centers for seniors. Using the analysis and the survey are submitted proposals and recommendations for improvement.
