Abstract

Design of Procedure for Dermining the Cost in Statistical Proces Control. The first part deals with the statistical process control description, cost calculation, calculation formulas and the approaches of different authors to the economic design of control charts. The second part describes the proposed methodology for measuring the SPC costs. The methodology is divided into a SPC implementation cost measurement part and a part, which is dedicated to costs measuring for already implemented SPC. The last part covers a case study on SPC costs measuring for specific production process. The case study describes a production technology, including all kinds of SPC costs quantification in the case of attributes as well as measurable quality characteristics.
