Řešení historického nádraží a prostoru "Duchcovského viaduktu"

Abstract

The subject matter of this diploma thesis is a possible solution for the historical railway station and the area of so called Duchcov viaduct. My text is divided into two parts. The theoretical one summarizes the matter of brownfields. Legislative aspects connected with such areas are mentioned and elementary definitions, the categorization and following revitalisation works are quoted as well. The latter part describes the station and viaduct, i. e. their history, current situation and neighboring allotments. This practical part also proposes resurgence works within both areas. It is conceived as a factual projet, seen in environmental, social and economical aspects.
