Studium vlastností fixačních materiálů optických vláken za pokojové teploty pomocí DSTS

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is the analysis of the influence of adhesive tapes on optical fibres during measurement by the DSTS system. The number of areas where distributed sensors find utilization is rising. That is why it is crucial to find all the possibilities how to attach the sensory fibres on specific surfaces. Nowadays we do not have enough knowledge about the influence of the way how we attach the sensory fibres which makes us focus on broadening the amount of information. The research of this diploma thesis will extend the knowledge of sensory applications of optical fibres, it will clarify the possibilities of their attachment and by that it will help when getting more exact results. The purpose of the experiment included in this thesis was the research of these characteristics and the effort to understand the fixation coexistence of chosen materials. The following experiment was to find the connection between tear force of fixation tapes and Brillouin frequencies. Six floor tapes, five fixation tapes and two optical fibres were examined.
