Abstract

The aim of the presented thesis was to verify the possibility of using different model materials for the subsequent production of the casting by precision casting technology. The so-called additive manufacturing will be used to produce the actual test models. Part of the methods used focuses on the precision casting method, as well as the Rapid Prototyping method in foundry engineering and the application of this method. Then there is a chapter on the development of Industry 4.0. The following chapter deals with the description of all the materials tested. The design section describes the original design, the visualization of the model, and the description of the individual elements. In the next part of the manufacturing section, we find the technological procedure of the production of each model, the whole casting process, measurements, evaluation and comparison of the results.
