Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with simulation impact of greenery to noise levels caused by traffic using noise model which works in ArcInfo (ArcGIS 9.2) environment. This model was being solved in two variants, with and without greenery. Traffic data was used as input data. Intensity rate was calculated from traffic data and then, a year average of equivalent daily level of acoustical pressure was calculated according to Update method of traffic noise. This data was input data for both used variants. Results modelling of area 1 (without housing development) showed, that of greenery muffle noise by 0,5 – 36,7 dB in dependence on distance of modelling sector. Results modelling of area 2 (with housing development) showed, that of in case this greenery muffle noise by 0,5 – 15,6 dB. In this places with growth vegetation reached to muffle by 5 – 10 dB, at places with growth wood reached to muffle by 15 – 21 dB. Results modelling was validated supposition point impact greenery on spread noise out of road traffic. Results to have been further desirable verificated measurement and in detail examine impact individual types growth.
