Abstract

In the context of the never-ending modernization of the mill plant of Třinecké Železárny a.s. is considered with the installation of new thermal imaging cameras for rolled semi-finished products temperature measurement. This thesis deals with the possible benefit of that modernization, suitable place of installation, the course of the temperature measurement and thermal imaging camera too. There are omitted from other measuring systems of metallurgical plants, including the current rolled semi-finished products temperature measurement and predicted benefits due above described replacement. Here is described the blooming mill and, together with the technological procedure of rolled semi-finished products hot-rolling.
