Abstract
The dissertation is focused on the possibilities of using virtual reality in the field of security of raw materials industry. The main impetus for launching research in this area is the failure to exploit the full potential of virtual reality in industry. Thanks to the establishment of cooperation with a company processing minerals, a proposal arose for the use of less economically demanding methods of creating 3D models, specifically the method of photogrammetry was chosen. The introductory chapters deal with virtual reality and photogrammetry in general. The following chapters describe the SW and HW tools needed to create 3D models created using photogrammetry. The next part of the work is focused on data collection, the creation of 3D models using photogrammetry and the development of virtual reality applications. The conclusion of the thesis contains
a simulation of a safety task according to the assignment of an industrial enterprise, evaluation of the obtained data, evaluation of the results of the work, and a comparison of strengths and weaknesses arising during the processing of this work.
