Abstract
My thesis deals with modeling of operating conditions of battery locomotives in order to optimize consumption. One part of my work is a diagram of the simulation in MATLAB ® Simulink ® program, which allow us to compare the consumption of the different types for the selected battery locomotives. The simulation program can be set as variables locomotives and traction characteristics. The output is desired and actual values of energy, power values, tracks, speed and other parameters. These output values can be compared with each other freely. The thesis is also inspired by own theoretical and practical solution that is designed to optimize consumption, to reduce it and also use it for further use on the track.
