Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the MPLS technology and its extension in form of MPLS VPN. It consists of theoretical description of these technologies followed by testing of routers and personal computers. The interconnection of all components and their configuration was done in a fully equipped laboratory. As the title implies MikroTik components were mostly used. One of the goals was to ensure the compatibility between MikroTik and Cisco components in these networks. That is why Cisco components were included too. The configuration of routers and computers is described in separate parts of this thesis. The outputs of actual settings of all routers are mentioned in the appendix.
