Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of health risks related to musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) in workers in the production of plastic connectors for the automotive industry. The aim of the thesis is to assess the level of health burden in selected professions in a company producing plastic connectors for the automotive industry, with regard to risk factors affecting the quality of working conditions. Ergonomic methods were used to assess health risks, specifically the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ), the Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire (CMDQ) and the REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) method. The thesis includes a comparison of working conditions and approaches to the prevention of MSD at branches in the Czech Republic and Austria, with regard to differences in legislative requirements and implemented ergonomic measures. The results of the thesis provide specific suggestions for improving working conditions and reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders through targeted ergonomic adjustments and organizational measures.
