Abstract
The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis is laboratory testing of concrete with admixture of foundry scrap that results as industrial waste from foundry furnaces, and determination of selected physical-mechanical properties (bulk density, uniaxial compressive strength, depth of water under pressure soak and resistance of concrete surface to water and chemical defrosting agents) of this concrete.
The final part of the thesis deals with comparison of selected properties of this concrete with reference concrete and possibilities of use of concrete with admixture of foundry scrap as concrete for hydraulic structures.
