Abstract

One of the main elements of the quarry documentation, where mining activity is carried out, is a document called The preparation, development and extraction plan. This document specifies the basic parameters and the manner of exploitation of particular mineral deposits. OPD is a plan drawn up even before the start of mining activities. During the extraction, however, there are various changes. These may be changes in mining methods, technology of material dressing, changes in mining - technical terms as well as changes in the environment, which have been required these days too. Upon the approval of the District Mining Authority, any such change is reflected in the OPD plan.
