Srovnání účinnosti mechanicko-biologické ČOV a kořenové ČOV v období vegetačního klidu

Abstract

In my diploma thesis I dealt with the comparison of the efficiency of the mechanical-biological WWTP Ostrava – Vítkovice and the root zone WWTP Kojkovice. I took samples of wastewater at the inflow and outflow from the root zone WWTP from January to March 2020. I took a sample of wastewater at the inflow and outflow from the WWTP Ostrava – Vítkovice only in January 2020, further data were provided by the operator of this WWTP at on the basis of the consent of the owner of this WWTP. The purpose of this work was to compare the efficiency of the root WWTP, which was in the period of dormancy with the efficiency of a conventional mechanical-biological WWTP of comparable size. In the theoretical part, I dealt with the description of treatment processes of mechanical-biological WWTPs and in root zone WWTPs. In the practical part, the values of monitored indicators of selected WWTPs in the monitored period are reported. I also determined the effectiveness of the above-mentioned WWTPs.
