Abstract
The bachelor's thesis deals with the technology of notch production on specimens for the impact test in bending by the Charpy method according to the standard ČSN EN ISO 148-1. It compares the results of the impact test in bending, when the notches of the test specimens were made by electro-erosion machining, milling and drawing. The test specimens for the experimental part of the work were taken from a 34CrMo4 steel cylinder. Metallographic analysis showed high homogeneity of the material with minimal contamination. The specimens were tested at temperatures of 20, 0, -20, -50 and -196 ° C. The results of the experiment show a slight difference between the impact work and the force-trajectory curves for notched specimens made by electroerosive machining.
