Abstract

The title of this diploma thesis is „Analysis of Housing Development Market in Ostrava“ . The aim of this thesis was to describe and characterize market of new housing development with concentration on development projects. The description is from perspective of placing potential new project in the territory of city Ostrava. The thesis is devided into seven parts. In the first two parts is characterized situation on housing development market, characterized term real estate development. In that part is also briefly characterized city Ostrava including short history, important project and market environment. The third part comes out from general market theory, housing market theory, marketing market analysis and theory of mystery shopping as a method used during market analysis. In the following part is descriped methodology of marketing research, which was realized for purpose of this thesis. In the fith part is presented analysis of collected secondary and primary data, from which resulted suggestions and recommendations which are listed in the last part of the thesis.
