Abstract

A sign of a good copany is favourable financial health. One of the methods how to assess the financial health is the financial analysis. The goal of bachelor thesis is to use the methods of financial analysis and estimation the financial health of a copany MSA, plc., in the period from 2006 to 2009. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. First part, it covers the theory of a given topic, especially basic terminology. It also provides a list of formulas for financial ratios. The most important information submitted by the second part contains an analysis of financial, under which it is used horizontal and vertical analysis of index analysis and analysis of predictive models using the assessment of the financial level. In the end are suggested precautions, how to improve its situation.
