Abstract

The presented diploma thesis deals with the issue of environmental voluntary tools and their recommendations for the Nachmelená Opice brewery from Krnov. The introductory part of the thesis is devoted to an introduction of environmental tools, their history, classification and individual characteristics. The thesis also introduces the Nachmelená Opice brewery, its history and production development. This part is followed by a description of beer production with material and energy inputs, on which we identify the environmental shortcomings of the company. Based on these shortcomings, 4 voluntary environmental tools are subsequently recommended for the brewery. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the findings and recommends the brewery to implement selected environmental voluntary tools. The aim of the thesis is to help the brewery on its journey to becoming a more environmentally responsible company and to introduce it to the possibilities of environmental voluntary tools.
