Abstract

This work is focused on the analysis of web patterns from certain chosen domains. Domains of holiday, purchase, news and jobs were chosen for the purpose of this thesis. At first, the user queries were given in order to get sets of web pages from mentioned domains. These web pages were donwloaded for further analysis. Next steps were identification of web patterns determinative certain domains and making of a web patterns dictionary. The manual and automatic evaluation of downloaded web pages were done to get overview of occurrance of web patterns on these web pages. At last, the statistic comparision between results of manual and automatic method was done.
