Činnost a hospodaření Městské policie Ostrava se zaměřením na preventivní programy

Abstract

This thesis is focusing on the evaluation of activities, management and prevention programs of the City Police Ostrava in the years since 2005 till 2008. City police Ostrava as a municipial police is supervising the observance of public order, safety and traffic flow and develops some preventive action. The main task in the field of prevention is to prevent the occurrence of violations and offence in the administered territories. Introductory part is generally focused on the historical development of the municipal police, the legal framework for their existence and funding. In the second part is one chapter devoted to an analysis of the organizational structure of the City Police in Ostrava, the distribution of each activity and compare the results obtained within the evaluation period. The second chapter is devoted to detailed analysis and management of individual prevention programs. In the conclusion I state my opinion about the possible improvement of the management and expansion of prevention programs.
