Možnost využití kůry ořešáku královského k odstranění Cr(VI)

Abstract

This diploma thesis continues the work I started in my bachelor thesis on the topic of Chromium VI adsorption on nonactivated woodchips from common walnut (Juglans regia). Theoretical part focuses on Chromium, methods used for its removal, mechanism of biosorption and factors affecting the process. Practical part is focused on adsorption kinetics of Cr(VI) using chemically activated woodchips from common walnut, study of adsorption isotherms and particle size effect. Samples were characterized by spectrofotometric method using 1,5-diphenylkarbazide.
