Abstract

This project is aimed at inventory of vegetation in chosen places of Karvinsko, inventory of soil seed banks and comparison of soil seed banks and local flora. At first I have stated demarcation of chosen places, brief history of Karviná and then there are described natural conditions of the chosen places. The other part of the project is focused at subsidence trough and their importance in the landscape. In the following chapters there are described studied areas individually and life strategies of organisms. At the end of the theoretical part You might learn what soil seed bank is and it’s characteristics, distribution and which ways we could study the soil seed bank. In the practical part of the project there is described methodics, sampling and survey processing. Then the project contains inventory of vegetation cover, inventory of all species occurring at various locations and inventory of soil seed bank.
