Analýza vývoje nezaměstnanosti v Ostravě

Abstract

The Bachelor Thesis "Analysis of Unemployment Development in Ostrava“ deals with theoretical aspects of unemployment. Further, it focuses on psychology of an unemployed person and the importance of work for a man. The thesis develops individual types of unemployment as well as it analyses risk groups of the unemployed. The thesis presents activities of Job Centres and it suggests economic policy measures which may impact Ostrava job market. The analytical part presents number of job candidates at Ostrava workplaces. In the thesis, there is a significance of the heavy industry downturn and its impact on Ostrava unemployment rate. Methods of analysis and synthesis were applied within the thesis.
