Abstract
The bachelor thesis is focused on commuting to work in 2011 and modal split.
It evaluates the rate of commuters to municipalities by public transport and the rate of commuters who use their individual means of transport from municipalities. The rates of specific means of transport are compared with the phenomena like the degree of accessibility of municipalities and the degree of motorization because, in some respects, they influence modal split. Furthermore, it researches commuting potential to municipalities focusing on the main flows, which are used by 100 and more economically active persons. It also describes used data sources, data from SLDB and database of transport connections.
