Abstract

The thesis deals with heating and hot water preparation using a ground/water heat pump and forced ventilation using air handling units. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part focuses on the architectural and construction design of the proposed building. The project documentation for the construction is prepared at the level required for the preparation of the technical building equipment and meets all the required standards and requirements. The second part focuses on the technical design of low-temperature heating and hot water preparation using a ground/water heat pump and the technical design of forced ventilation using air handling units. Heating is designed as low-temperature surface heating in combination with tubular and panel radiators. A ground/water heat pump is proposed as the main source for heating and hot water preparation. The ventilation system is designed as forced ventilation of the entire building with a constant pressure system and end elements designed as anemostats and valves. The units are designed separately for each floor. The thesis includes a thermal assessment of individual structures, calculation of heat loss in the building, modeling of critical details, energy performance certificate for the building, heat demand, and room balance according to air conditioning.
