Abstract
The aim of this work is create a compact and independent system together with device, which is able to compare, save and delete stored fingerprints from the database and show the current operating states on display. In my work I focus mainly on explanation of principle the most widely used fingerprint sensors on market, dactyloscopy and way in which the picture are taken and processed. The chosen problem I solved using the programmable microcontroller (Arduino), LCD display, optic fingerprint sensor and control buttons. The obtained data, I evaluated by using a programmed algorithm for different mode. Device creates possibillity to engage this system in hospital as a verification device for control patients before surgery or correct allocation of born child to parents. On basis of the generated design I compile and program accurate and compact device for verification of persons.
